BEHIND THE SONG

"Holding on to You" was written for students to show the confidence and assurance that comes with the decision to follow Jesus. The idea of giving everything up and choosing to be all in can be difficult when we’re constantly surrounded by a “me first” culture, but there’s no denying that Jesus asks us to do just that and nothing less. It may seem like we’re letting go of so much, but when we let Jesus take control, we’re holding on to so much more. This song was written to celebrate that truth as we move forward with a life dedicated to Christ!
